Ideal Students: I believe students who love classics stories such as the Three Little Pigs will enjoy this adaption. It is not as quick and fast paced as other versions, but it tells the entire story of how the pig outsmarted the wolf. Core Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.2.9 Compare and contrast two or more versions of the same story (e.g., Cinderella stories) by different authors or from different cultures. This story fits with this standard because the Three Little Pigs have been adapted by many authors and there are many versions for children to hear and enjoy.
