Ideal Students: I believe students who love old classics will really enjoy this adaption of the story. The use of illustrations makes it more interesting to read. Core Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.2.9 Compare and contrast two or more versions of the same story (e.g., Cinderella stories) by different authors or from different cultures. This book works with this standard because the story is a classic tale that has been adapted by many different authors from different cultures.
